[ARANGUEZ, 31 January 2020] — The Employers’ Consultative Association of Trinidad and Tobago (ECA) held its 59th Annual General Meeting at the Association’s Training and Conference Facility in Aranguez last Thursday. Following the confirmation of appointments, four (4) new Directors were appointed to the ECA’s Board of Directors for the period 2020 to 2023.

The ECA is the largest Association of employers in Trinidad and Tobago and a leading national voice on public and legislative discussions on Industrial Relations and other business-related issues affecting the employer community. Earlier this month, the ECA hosted a sensitization session at the Hilton Trinidad and Conference Centre on the recent decriminalisation of marijuana and its implications for the workplace, where several matters relating to drug testing protocols, policy responses, occupational safety and health implications and other employment-related issues were discussed.
