The employment relationship in Trinidad and Tobago may be governed by industrial relations principles and practices, legislation, or a combination of both. As an employer, an Employment Contract should protect you and your business, while ensuring a suitable work environment for your employee. When both interests are equitably served, your company and your employee will reap significant benefits. ( Keith Scotland, 2020)

This workshop will examine the types of Employment Contracts used in organisations today, the benefits and drawbacks of each and how employers could successfully navigate and avoid pitfalls in the administration of these contracts.

The session will further enhance the knowledge of participants as it relates to principles and practices of good Industrial Relations and the successful termination of the Employment contract, if needed.
