When an employee experiences perceived unfair treatment, whether in workplace relationships, disciplinary actions, or the application of employment terms, they have the right to initiate a formal grievance or complaint process.
Ideally, employers should treat every grievance seriously and conduct thorough inquiries. This also reduces an employer's exposure to legal action if the employee seeks recourse through external channels.
This training programme is designed to enhance participants’ understanding of the grievance process, particularly for those in supervisory or management roles. It focuses on building the skills needed to implement a fair, effective, and timely grievance management system, that supports the efficient resolution of employee issues, strengthens trust, fosters a positive workplace culture, and reduces the likelihood additional cost due to unresolved conflicts.
